Snowbirds typically arrive in November, and leave in April in order to maintain 6 months in Mexico and 6 months in Canada or the US. Some work while they are in Mexico, and some just take the winters off. Working remotely is always a possibility with the strong internet connections, conference calls, Skype video chat, VOIP and other technology available.
If you can just kick back and relax for the winters, if you get bored of the beach there are never ending adventures you can have within each community here, as well as the surrounding areas.
What area of Mexico should you choose for the winter?
If you like live where it is peaceful, and go to where the action and partying is if you want to – if you like a variety of choices, modern comforts or historical charm, direct flights, marina’s, mountains, ocean and jungle views, walking around to restaurants and shops, becoming part of the community choose RIVIERA NAYARIT. (named one of the best places to own a second home in 2010 by International Property Journal). Check out Riviera Nayarit
Some of the best weather in the world. Year ‘round enjoyment. Over 330 days of sunshine. In the wintertime, Mexico averages 25º C (77º F) in its beach destinations.
There is no place in Canada you can wear shorts in the winter. The USA is too cold in the winter too – you need your jacket even if you are in Florida or California. No other place can compare for lifestyle and weather that is anywhere nearby. In the coastal areas, a nice breeze blows off the water in the winter (and throughout much of the year) so the temperature is quite pleasant.

There is no substitute for Mexico, and no better a place to really LIVE your life!

Better Value
Cost of living in Mexico is typically ½ to 1/3 of the cost most people are paying in Canada or the USA, and a fraction of what many people pay in Europe or cities in Asia. Combined with the fact that the dollar is strong against the Mexican peso, and you see your money gets you much, much more in Mexico.
